Review of Cuisinart Custom 14 Cup Food Processor:

The following are the points that I got after reviewing electric Cuisinart Custom 14 Cup Food Processor (DFP-14BCNY) online:

Multiple Functions of the Processor:

You can perform multiple functions with the food processor of Cuisinart. Yes, you can effectively puree, chop, shred, knead, dice, mince, and blend ingredients with this appliance. Whether you want to prepare side dishes like hummus and vegetable soup or main course dishes like turkey meatballs and chicken nuggets, you can rely on this appliance for your food processing tasks.

High Load Capacity:

The capacity of this food processor is quite high. Yes, you can add up to 14 cups of your food material inside the processor. The processor has a high-capacity work bowl with a handle. So it can process different kinds of hard and soft food ingredients in big amounts that you can easily shift after processing inside your pots with that handle.

Strong and Efficient Motor:

The motor of Cuisinart’s food processor has 720 wattage power. This means that the motor is strong enough to handle the heavy electrical work of the processor and is considered efficient as well by many customers online.

High Warranty Period:

Well, the processor of Cuisinart comes with a high warranty period for its users. Yes, if you get this food processor, you will get a three-year warranty for the entire unit and five-year warranty for its motor. So if you face any issue after getting the product, you can contact the customer support team of the company to resolve your issue within the warranty period.

Dishwasher-Safe Product:

You can wash all the removable parts of the food processor with a dishwasher except the motor base. You would have to manually clean the motor base with a damp cloth if you get the processor for your kitchen. Also, I would like to recommend that you should not use the dishwasher for cleaning the processor or any kitchen appliance many times as it’s not good for the longevity or durability of the product.

Other Benefits:

  • This food processor has a work bowl cover that has an extra large feed tube. Basically, this feed tube makes it possible to add big chunks of foods inside the processor, and the standard cover makes sure that the bowl processes ingredients without any spillage outside. For the big feed tube, there is a large pusher as well. So you can easily push the food ingredients into the processor with that pusher.
  • Well, the large pusher and sleeve are assembled so that the food ingredients can be smoothly transferred from the feed tube inside the work bowl. And this assembly could also be used to store the components in one place.
  • Then, there is also a small feed tube and small pusher for pushing only small pieces of food inside the work bowl.
  • Besides, the food processor is highly durable for being made of standard plastic and stainless steel. The work bowl, spatula (apparently), and detachable disc stem (apparently) consist of some standard plastic, and other components that are used for shredding, slicing, and chopping, etc. are made of quality stainless steel. Plus, the used plastic material is BPA-free (Bisphenol A-free) according to the manufacturer. This means that the used plastic material is safe for human use.
  • The processor also comes with a recipe book that you can try with the food processor. Also, the instructions mentioned in the instruction manual are easy to read or clear-cut for a user. Isn’t that great!
  • When I observed the height of this processor, I felt good as it has a good height that’s compatible with big kitchens and kitchens with big cabinet spaces. So the height of Cuisinart’s food processor is 14.8 inches that’s usually impressive for homeowners, especially owners of large homes.
  • You can pulse your food material or speed up its processing too through pushing the button of “pulse” present on the processor’s base. In this way, for instance, you can get the chopping or shredding result in less time and with desired consistency.

Cons of the Food Processor:

  • The first con that I noted is that the processor is heavy for a user or is not portable for having 18.280 lb weight. Therefore, you cannot easily move the product in your kitchen with your hands.
  • Some customers reported that the assembly of this processor is difficult for them because of many substeps involved. However, don’t worry. With practice, you won’t find assembling the product difficult. Yes, I noted this point in many customer reviews online.
  • According to some users, the price of this product is higher when compared to its benefits. Yes, they find that the benefits of this processor do not exactly match its somewhat high price. So the product is somewhat pricey.
  • Also, some users noticed that if the chopping blade and other processing elements had been adjustable, then they would have got the food size results of their choice. Yes, they believe that they can enjoy the required processing outcomes if the slicing and chopping elements, for example, are made adjustable.
  • This product would have been great if it had three speed control levels. Yes, if the processor had possessed low, high, and medium speed control buttons on its base, the processing results would have been amazing for being highly customised.
  • And the last con is you can find cleaning some parts of the food processor difficult in which food particles get stuck like attachment discs, food pushers, and safety locking mechanism segments.

Conclusion:

So that’s all what I have to share with you regarding the review of Cuisinart Custom 14 Cup Food Processor. I hope you appreciate my efforts exerted for the post. And if you really appreciate these efforts, then share my post with your connections. In this way, they can also know about the pros and cons of the food processor and get it for their kitchen.
