Ingredients and Steps to Prepare Potato Chicken Cutlets with a Food Chopper:
The following are the ingredients you should collect beforehand and the steps you should follow to prepare delicious potato chicken cutlets with a food chopper:
Ingredients of the Dish:
- Four Medium Potatoes
- Four Medium Chicken Breast Pieces
- Salt
- Water
- Black Pepper
- Red Chilli Powder
- Green Chilli
- Seasoning Powder
- Coriander Leaves
- One Medium Onion
- 3-4 Garlic Cloves
- 1 Inch Ginger Piece
- White Flour
- Soy Sauce
- Cooking Oil
- Egg
- Mayonnaise, Tomato Ketchup, or Mint Sauce (Optional)
Step 1: Cutting of Veggies and Boiling of Potatoes & Chicken Pieces:
Firstly, gather four medium-sized potatoes and four medium-sized chicken breast pieces in your kitchen. Then, peel off your potatoes and cut them into small pieces. Similarly, cut the chicken pieces into small segments.
Afterwards, peel off one medium onion, 3-4 garlic cloves, & 1 inch ginger piece and cut the veggies into small pieces. Then, also cut some green chilli pieces into small segments. You should also remove coriander leaves from their tiny stems and add them on a plate.

Next, you have to add those potato and chicken segments inside separate steel pots, add some salt inside the pots, and boil them for 10-15 minutes or as needed. Plus, let your boiled potato and chicken pieces cool down after placing them in a bowl.

Step 2: Processing of the Ingredients with a Food Chopper:
Then, add your ingredients inside Hamilton Beach chopper (72850) and process your food ingredients with short breaks. But be careful. Don’t overprocess your material. Otherwise, you won’t be able to prepare stiff and delicious cutlets. Yes, let your material be a thick paste.

Step 3: Addition of Spices and Other Ingredients to the Processed Material:
Now add your black pepper (minced and as needed), red chilli powder (optional and as per taste), soy sauce (one tablespoon), white flour (a few tablespoons or as needed for the material’s stiffness), salt (as needed), and seasoning powder (as needed) to the processed material. Then, mix the added ingredients with the material thoroughly through a big spoon or by hand.
Step 4: Preparation and Frying of the Oval Pieces:
As the next step, you should pour some cooking oil on your hands and grab a portion of your processed material to make an oval piece by rotating the material with your hands. Then, form similar oval pieces by following the same method. You can make 6-8 medium-sized oval pieces with the above method. And when you’re done with the piece making, then put a frying pan on your stove. Add some cooking oil inside the pan after turning on the stove. Next, dip the pieces inside a beaten salty egg, and add these cutlets inside the pan. Cook or shallow fry the pieces for 10 minutes (5 minutes for one side and remaining 5 minutes for the other side of the cutlets after the flip) so that their external colour may turn light brown after these minutes.
Step 5: Serving of the Potato Chicken Cutlets:
Well, now is the time to serve these cutlets. You can move these cutlets from the pan to your serving plate and add some tomato ketchup, mint sauce, or mayonnaise on the plate. Then, you can serve the dish to your family members or guests that they can enjoy with toasted bread pieces as shown in the picture below or toasted burger bun pieces.
